Pakistan Institute of Education (PIE)


Pakistan Institute of Education (PIE) has been created as Executive/Attached Department of Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training after approval from Cabinet under Cabinet Case No. 1080/37/2021 dated 9.11.2021.
The PIE is created through merger of Academy of Educational Planning & Management (AEPAM) and National Education Assessment System (NEAS) vide Cabinet Division's O.M. dated 3.12.2021.

26th Financial Management for Good Governance (FMGG)
Workshop held in AEPAM November 23-27, 2015
Training Wing of the AEPAM has organized 26th Workshop on Financial Management for Education Managers from November 23-27, 2015 under FMGG project Phase-II. Twenty Seven (27) Education Managers were attended the workshop. Out total participants, 7 participants were from Punjab, 4 participants were each from Sindh and Khyber Pakktunkhwa KP, 5 participants were from Balochistan, 2 participants were each from FATA, GB, ICT and 1 participant was from AJK. The Closing session of the Workshop was held on Friday November 27, 2015 at 3:00 pm. in the AEPAM Auditorium. Hafiz Muhammad Tahir, Accountant General of Pakistan Revenue (AGPR) Islamabad had chaired the closing session of the Workshop and awarded the Certificates to the Participants. Dr. Dawood Shah, Director (Training), Mr. Akhtar Tatla, Program Coordinator and other faculty members/officers of AEPAM were attended the closing session.
Dr. Dawood Shah in his concluding remarks highlighted the main objectives of the FMGG project. He stated that AEPAM had trained 670 education managers by conducting 26 training workshops under FMGG project phase-II. He advised participants to use acquired knowledge and skills in the field for improvement of education. He loped that attending the workshop, participants would use the financial resources as per rules and regulations and they will keep financial discipline.
Honorable chief guest Hafiz Muhammad Tahir in his concluding remarks highlighted the importance of the financial management and share some value able tips with the participants. He stressed the trainees they must adhere to financial disciplines in their respective institutions for improvement of the education. He thanked AEPAM for conducting training programs on very crucial topic of financial management. In the end of closing session Hifiz Muhammad Tahir awarded the Certificates to the Participants.
